Within the Comparative Chinese-Western Traditional Interpretational Horizon, Civilizational exchange, From Matteo Ricci to Roger T. Ames, From Yiduoeryuan (一多二元) to Yiduobufen (一多不分), we will returnto the "original taste and flavor" of the Chinese classics.

II、The Team of Professors

       Roger T.AmesHumanities Chair Professor at Peking University, World-Famous Philosopher of Sino-Western Comparative Philosophy, Internationally Famous Master of Sinology, Chairman of the World Association for Confucian Cultural Studies, Vice-Chairman of the International Confucian Association.

      Chenshan TianDirector of the Center for East-West Relations, Beijing Foreign Studies University, the Honor Consultant of the International Confucian Association. As a contemporary Chinese-American academic, Chenshan Tian specializes in comparative Western and Chinese political philosophy.


       Peng LinProfessor of the Department of Humanities, Dean of the Chinese Academy of Economics and one amongst the first group of senior professors in Liberal Arts at Tsinghua University, the Committee of Experts at the Ancient Civilization Research Center, Advisor at the International Confucian Association.


       Robin WangProfessor of Philosophy at Loyala Marymount University, Director of Asia-Pacific Studies, Researcher at Stanford University's Center of Human Behavior Research, 2016-2017 and the current President of the Global Association of Asian and Comparative Philosophy.


    Hans-Georg Moeller,Professor of Philosophy at the University of Macau. His research focuses on Chinese and Comparative Philosophy and on Social and Political Thought. 


        Wen HaimingProfessor at the School of Philosophy, Renmin (People's) University of China(RUC), The Beijing Center (TBC, since 2007). He is the associate director of the Committee for Membership of International Confucian Association(ICA).


       Zhao YanfengAssociate Professor of the School of Chinese as a Second Language at Peking University, former Chinese Chairman of the Confucius Institute in Ritsumeikan Japan, served as an instructor at the Traditional Culture Society in Peking University.

(I)Target Groups and Quota

a)Teachers and students of Master’s or PHDs who currently or intend to engage inSino-Western Cultural Comparative Studies, Cross-Cultural research, Overseas Chinese research or any related academic research.

b) Workers or students who currently or intend to engage in English translation or English cultural translation.

c) Personnel who currently or intend to engage in Chinese cultural dissemination, international cultural exchange, the media, economics and other fields of communication.

d) Intellectuals who are interested in Chinese traditional culture.

Roger T. Ames was born in 1947 in Toronto, Canada. As a professor at the University of Hawaii, an advisor to Nishan Shengyuan Academy, Chairman of the World Association of Confucian Culture Studies and Vice Chairman of the International Confucian Association, he is an internationally famous expert in Sinology. He is a leading figure in Chinese & Western philosophy and is famous in China and abroad for his translation of books such as theAnalects of Confucius,Sun Tzu’s Art of War,Huainan Tzu andTao Te Ching He was the Chief Editor toPhilosophy of the Occident and Orientas well as theInternational Chinese Book Reviewand the author ofConfucian Philosophical Thinking,Thinking from the Han: Self, Truth, and Transcendence in Chinese and Western Culture,Anticipating China: Thinking Through the Narratives of Chinese and Western Culture,the Art of Rulership: A Study into Chinese Political ThoughtandDemocracy if the Dead: Dewey, Confucius and the Hope for Democracy in China.
